SCOPE OF COMPETITION

• A 5 round round-robin format, with the draw split between the pre & post Xmas terms

• Because there are 5 clubs, there is a BYE in the draw

• One Finals Round after the Round Robin is completed

 

GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

• Across the 5 rounds of the Super-Series, each grade will have its’ own points table.

• 3 Points for a Win or Win on Forfeit, 1.5 for a Tie or Abandoned Game, 0 for a Loss.

• At the conclusion of round 5, the points standing in each grade will determine the draw for the finals round in each grade;

  • 1st plays 2nd for the Grade Title  (eg, 2018-19 Y4B Champions)

  • 3rd plays 4th

  • 5th has a BYE

• If the teams are tied on points at the end of the round robin the tie-breaker is as follows

  • The winner of the match between the two teams on even points in the Round Robin match

  • If the match in the Round Robin is a draw or abandoned, then the team with the higher Net Run Rate will be placed higher

• The finals round will produce a grade champion and will determine the final placings for each grade.

 

SUPER-SERIES LADDER POINTS

• At the conclusion of round 5 the draw will be determined for the Finals round according to the standings in each of the 20 individual grades (see above).

The standings of each grade after the results of the finals round will then be averaged which will determine the final club positions for the overall Super-Series, and will determine the overall champion club
